Games I've Worked On
Tabletop Games
Design and Development - Monster Hunter World: The Board Game
Monster Hunter World: The Board Game is a tabletop adaptation of Capcom’s wildly successful Monster Hunter World video game. The game sees 2-4 players engaging in cooperative battles to defeat monsters and harvest their parts to build more powerful equipment.
- Managed the play test groups throughout the majority of its development, collating feedback and creating playtest materials
- Created mathematic spreadsheets to help with the development and playtesting of the game
- Designed and developed some of the hunters in the Wildspire Wastes set and Hunters Arsenal set, as well as the three elder dragon expansions
Design and Lead Development - Godtear
Godtear is a tabletop skirmish board game for two players. With its dynamic scenarios and pre-assembled, pre-coloured miniatures, it’s quick to start but hard to master!
I currently work on Godtear as its lead developer. This involves: designing and developing new champions, campaign content and organised play rules. I recently worked on the following products:
- Development on the Godtear Kickstarter products with David ‘DC’ Carl and Alex Hall
- Lead Development on the Awakenings: Campaign System
- Design and Lead Development on Keera
- Lead Development on Jeen, Luella, Maxen, Helena and Styx
Lead Developer - Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game
Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game is a competitive board game set in the world of Guerilla’s Horizon Zero Dawn video game. Players play members of the hunters lodge looking to bring down massive machines to earn glory for the lodge.
My involvement was as a lead developer on all of the game content as well as work designing and developing all of the huge machine expansions and many of the expansion hunters.
Game Concept and Design - Ni No Kuni 2: The Board Game
I created the initial pitch and a prototype for the board game before handing it off to the capable hands of lead developer Bryce Johnston who handled the remaining design and development.
Developer - Resident Evil 2: The Board Game
I was responsible for a lot of additional development work and playtesting to bring the game to completion.
Design/Development/Playtesting - Guild Ball Season 3 & Season 4
Whilst it was in development I was an active part of the games playtesting team and contributed the following elements:
- I created the concept for the Alchemist Guild’s condition spending redesign for Season 4

- Design on Season 3 Veteran Calculus
- Design on Season 4 Kraken
